// BRING A LITTLE EXTRA CASH SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO BRING AS MUCH OF YOUR OWN FOOD & BEVERAGE TO THE FEST. OUR STUFF IS ALWAYS MADE WITH LOVE, DELICIOUS AND REASONABLY PRICED //

// BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE 16oz MUG AND GET $1 OFF YOUR BEER. WE'LL HAVE A FEW FOR SALE AS WELL //

the bar

The bar is located in front of the Mess Hall, this year with the gracious help of our friends over at Lagunitas. With your age-appropriate wristband, look for a variety of delicious beer and wine being served all day. And don't forget to grab a mimosa on Saturday and Sunday morning with your pancake breakfast! UNDERAGE DRINKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. VIOLATORS WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE PREMISES AND REPORTED TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES. Thanks for understanding.

Plus: Get $1 OFF your drinks at the bar when you present your own pint (16oz) mug. Unfortunately, we will not be providing complimentary pint mugs this year, but if you bring your own you can get the discount. We'll also have a few pint mugs for sale for a very reasonable price!

coffee, tea and more

We're proud to announce that Alta Organic Coffee will be helping us out this year by serving hot and cold coffee, tea and other tasty stuff. Some of Alta's employees are local musicians around Santa Cruz and run deep within the DIO community... we're stoked to have them this year! (maybe this time we won't run out of coffee every day!).

The dio kitchen in the mess hall

The Do it Ourselves Kitchen is the original food project that we ever undertook at DIO back in 2013, attempting to feed the entire festival out of one mess hall window. These days we're a little smarter about things, providing some other options outside and around the festival to spread the grub-centers around a little more. Head to the DIO Kitchen in the mess hall for some wholesome, home cooked goodness for the following meals: Friday Dinner, Saturday Pancake Breakfast, Saturday Dinner and Sunday Pancake Breakfast.

Meals at the DIO Kitchen are delicious, nutritious and in limited supply. This year Chef Chris Gallagher will be cooking up some seriously tasty plates. Don't miss it.

the bbq

The BBQ will operate in the midday to late afternoon on Fri-Sat-Sun and will serve a variety of classic meals. Da Kine grinds...

vendors and merch

In true do-it-ourselves fashion, we'll have some rad folks with booths, tables and other stuff. Poke your head around, grab some delicious food and chat it up with some of our featured artists, vendors and merch-makers. They'll be stoked to see ya! You'll also find the merch displays for all your favorite performers as well as original DIO merch, so support the shredders and grab a shirt or something rad.

enjoy...

You won't be disappointed in the menus and selection thanks to our wonderful local food movement, variety of microbreweries and interesting artists here on the Central Coast! We are proud to say that every year our selection of food, drink and merch becomes more delicious, more sustainable, and more epic all around. So bring a couple bucks to enjoy it all!
